From “Opción Obrera”, we extent this statement from the Venezuelan Movement of Solidarity with Palestine Al Awda (MVSP). We fully endorse and even add, the essential for its content, since it separates itself point by point from the ambiguities of so many statements, notes, opinions that end up favoring, unintentionally, the media that represent imperialism and that together with all its instruments carry out this genocide.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT OF THE VENEZUELAN MOVEMENT
OF SOLIDARITY WITH PALESTINE AL AWDA (MVSP)
The Venezuelan Movement of Solidarity with Palestine (MVSP) greets with cautious hope the announcement of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. However, we remember that a humanitarian truce does not equal justice, much less freedom. Recent history shows that Israel has violated previous ceasefire agreements at least 962 times. Using each pause not to build peace, but to rearm, reorganize its offensive, and continue massacring the Palestinian people.
We firmly denounce that this ceasefire comes after a devastating aggression. Tens of thousands of civilians murdered, women, men, and thousands of children among the rubble. hospitals razed, schools bombed, and entire families exterminated. Nothing justifies the genocide, the ethnic cleansing that the occupation regime has imposed for decades on Gaza, the West Bank, and all of Palestine.
We also denounce the direct role of US imperialism in this process. The United States is not a mediator; it is an active accomplice of the genocide. This government has allocated billions of dollars in military, political, and logistical financing to the Israeli regime, guaranteeing impunity for its crimes in every international forum. In every negotiation, Washington acts to protect its interests and those of the military-industrial complex, not the rights of the Palestinian people.
Even so, we recognize that this ceasefire is a
moral, political, and human victory for the Palestinian people and their
resistance. The steadfastness of the people, their organization, and their
dignity have succeeded in imposing a pause on the barbarity on the ground. It
is the Palestinian people—not the oppressors or their allies—who have won this
truce with sacrifice and heroism.
But this victory does not mean a definitive rest: it is a necessary pause for the people of Gaza to breathe, recover, and continue their struggle for total liberation. The resistance does not stop as long as occupation, dispossession, and blockade persist.
Therefore, we, the Venezuelan Movement of Solidarity with Palestine (MVSP), express to the peoples of the world the following demands and non-negotiable positions:
We demand absolute respect for the ceasefire
with the supervision by truly independent international mechanisms, and full
and immediate humanitarian access to Gaza: food, medicine, fuel, water, and
reconstruction materials. No blockade, restriction, or condition may be imposed
on the Palestinian people's right to life.
We demand the immediate and absolute release of all Palestinian prisoners, men, women, the elderly, youth, and children kidnapped by the occupation regime. Their arbitrary detentions constitute a continuing crime against humanity.
We demand the definitive rupture of all political, economic, diplomatic, and military complicity with the State of Israel. Governments and companies that maintain relations with the Zionist regime are jointly responsible for the massacre. We urge the immediate suspension of commercial, financial, military, and cooperation agreements with that regime.
We demand the capture, prosecution, and imprisonment of Benzion Mileikowsky, known as Benjamin Netanyahu, person primarily politically and militarily responsible for the war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide perpetrated against the Palestinian people. May no criminal leader seek refuge in impunity or the protection of complicit powers.
We reiterate that the only real path to peace is the refusal to recognize the State of Israel and the exclusive recognition of the one, free, and sovereign State of Palestine. The so-called "two-state solution" is a fallacy imposed by colonial powers to perpetuate the fragmentation of the Palestinian territory and cover up the occupation. Only a unified Palestine, from the river to the sea, guarantees justice and self-determination.
We demand that international tribunals expedite investigations and trials against those responsible for the genocide. The evidence is overwhelming, the victims countless, and impunity intolerable. It is time for international justice to act coherently and without selectivity.
We call on the peoples of the world to maintain and escalate solidarity and mobilization with Palestine. Not to halt activism, but to multiply it in the streets, universities, unions, social media, institutions, and parliaments. We demand effective sanctions, boycotts, and divestment until the end of the occupation is achieved.
We reaffirm the need for a definitive political, diplomatic, economic, cultural, and sporting break with the Israeli regime by all governments of the world. We call for full and formal recognition of the State of Palestine as the only legitimate state in its historical territory.
The Venezuelan Movement of Solidarity with
Palestine reaffirms its historic and unwavering commitment to the cause of
justice and self-determination for peoples. Venezuela, a land of solidarity and
anti-imperialism, keeps alive the voice of those who refuse to surrender to
oppression.
There is no peace without justice. There is no justice without liberation.
This ceasefire must be the beginning of the end of the occupation, not a pause for impunity.
The people of Gaza deserve rest, but also freedom, return, and reparation.
We will remain vigilant, mobilized, and united until Palestine is free, united, and sovereign, from the river to the sea.
¡Palestine will win!
¡From Venezuela, we raise our voices for a Free
Palestine from the river to the sea!
